Bartenders seem to churn through world records faster than tiny umbrellas, every week a shaker-flipping expert has claimed another (brief) place in the record books. The most recent addition is Bobby Gleason who is the current holder of the fastest cocktail mixing title.
Gleason made 253 drinks in 60 minutes, an amazing performance considering it takes most people 60 minutes to find that bottle of Campari they just know they have around here somewhere.
Averaging a blurry four cocktails a minute his tip is, “It’s all about balance.” Although he seems like the perfect addition to a cocktail party, we don’t think our liquor cabinet could keep up with a four drinks per minute cocktail making machine.
