Hemp's many uses have been widely reported, from clothing, to rope and plastics; and now for a variety of beverages. Hemp is a sister species of hops and beer brewed from the plant has been around for a while, but it's now being used to produce unique vodka, brandy and rum. The hemp beverages don't have any extra euphoric side effects, but the hardy plant requires considerably less pesticides to grow, and is therefore more environmentally friendly to produce.
It's also rich in Amino Acids, Essential Fatty Acids and magnesium. So if you're looking for a reason to mix a drink, just think of you health.
