Christmas Pudding Popper

It’s Christmas time, and what better way to celebrate Christmas than with a cocktail? (Apart from perhaps Santa granting your childhood request for world peace as a present) 

 

Glassware

  • Christmas pudding

Ingredients

  • 30ml Bourbon
  • 20ml Maple Syrup
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Dry Ginger Ale
  • A Christmas Cake 

Method

  1. Hollow out a Christmas cake to turn it into a vessel.
  2. Heat up a stainless steel milk jug (or something similar with a handle).
  3. Add 30ml of bourbon and a cinnamon stick the milk jug.
  4. Light up the alcohol inside the tin.
  5. Call the fire brigade as necessary.
  6. Add 20ml maple syrup to jug.
  7. Tip into the hollowed out Christmas cake.
  8. Top with Ginger Ale.
  9. Drink to world peace!
