The Brandy Crusta


Wine glass


  • Splash of cognac
  • Dash of Grand Marnier
  • Squeeze of lemon
  • Dash of Maraschino (sweet cherry-flavoured liquor)
  • Schweppes Lemon Lime and Bitters
  • Sugar


  1. Cut lemon into wedges and wipe edges of glass.
  2. Dip glass into sugar to coat the rim.
  3. Pour a solid splash of cognac, a dash of Grand Marnier, a squeeze of lemon juice and a little Maraschino into a shaker (or a jar) full of ice.
  4. Shake and strain into wine glass.
  5. Add ice cube and combine with Schweppes Lemon Lime Bitters
